Puppies & Kittens

Puppy & Kitten Visits

When you first visit with your puppy or kitten, we will consult with you and help you decide which vaccines and treatments are specific to your pet's needs.  We know not all pets have the same lifestyles, so we will personalize your pet's plan to fit what suits them best.  Vaccines to be given will be determined at your first visit and will depend on your pet's past and future.

You will see us examine your puppy or kitten head to tail, listen to their heart and lungs, and look at their teeth.  We make sure to address any concerns of yours as soon as possible to get your pet started out on the right paw!  Often times we'll "borrow" your new pet to meet other members of the staff in various parts of the hospital - this helps them get used to the sights and sounds of the clinic and meet new people.  We want their visits to be as pleasant as possible, so showing them around and giving them treats will help them realize the clinic is not a place to be scared of!

Each time you visit with your little buddy while they're receiving their first round of vaccines, we will do a nail trim, clean their ears if needed, and of course give lots and lots of kisses!
