Whitewater Veterinary Hospital is proud to serve Whitewater and the communities surrounding us for everything pet related.  We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you, your family, and your furry family member(s) to our website.  As you browse, it is our hope that you will learn more about our dedication to providing quality and compassionate veterinary care to our community.

Whitewater Veterinary Hospital was established when Dr. Lee Allenstein bought the practice from Dr. Marsh in 1950.  Dr. Allenstein was soon joined by Dr. Fritz Engel and the two of them set the foundation for a caring, yet forward-thinking animal hospital.  The original clinic was located at 209 South Taft Street in Whitewater.  In 1974, the current building at 527 S. Janesville Street was built and began serving patients, large and small, in 1975.  Today, Dr. Tom Smithyman, Dr. Matt Stever, Dr. Janet Gildner, and Dr. Mike Miesen are partners of this long-standing, ever-evolving veterinary hospital.
